Policy Assessment and Legislative Analysis
MayaTech's Center for Health Policy and Legislative Analysis (HPLA) has proven experience in researching, evaluating, analyzing, and reporting on health care law, policy, and service issues. It is recognized for providing objective, reliable, and in-depth analyses and evaluations of public health policies and related strategies.
MayaTech's services go beyond that of a legislative tracking firm. Our work aims to analyze the relationship between health policy and outcomes. Translating legislative actions into meaningful measures of policy activity for use in broader research and evaluation studies requires an understanding of both the complexities inherent in legal and policy research and the broader conventions of applied research and evaluation methodologies. We specialize in operationalizing policy information for use in applied research and evaluation studies. Our legislative research and analysis is complemented by additional qualitative and quantitative health policy research and evaluation methodologies in order to provide a comprehensive policy study. For over 14 years, we have conducted policy research, evaluation, and analysis services for Federal- and commercial-sector clients.
