Portfolio Assessment Solutions offers a pyramid approach. Each client is different and requires different services in order to build their base for program assessment. Through our pyramid approach, you can select the level of assessment that fits your portfolio, your budget, and your information needs. If you would like an approach that does not seem to be covered in these packages, we can work with you to develop a customized Portfolio Assessment Solution.
Level 1: Materials Review
Level 1 is our basic Portfolio Assessment Solution. Within this package we provide our standard project management and conceptual
planning service. This entails conducting a materials review of your currently funded
projects and interviewing key agency staff. We can complete this level of PAS in approximately 60-90 days. The final product
is a 45-60 page report that summarizes the findings of the materials review.
Level 2: Materials and Bibliometric Review
Level 2 incorporates a bibliometric analysis into our methodology in order to provide you with a systematic analysis
of the impact that key research and publications in your portfolio of funded projects has had in the field. We
also are able to conduct a web-based survey of your funded projects to gather quantitative information about their
research activities, outputs and outcomes. We can complete this level of PAS in approximately 4-6 months. The final
report for the Level 2 PAS can be up to 100 pages in length.
Level 3: Materials and Bibliometric Review with Interactive Information Collection
Level 3 incorporates interactive information collection methods, such as interviews or focus groups with key stakeholders (agency staff, grantees,
recipients of grantee services). At this level, we also provide detailed qualitative analysis using electronic data analysis programs such
as QSR Nud*ist or Atlas.ti.
We also can conduct case studies or success story interviews to build the narrative of your program and can offer site visits to projects.
We can complete this level of PAS in approximately 10-12 months. The final report for a Level 3 PAS is likely to be over 100 pages.
Level 4: Level 3 plus Enhanced Information Dissemination
Level 4 continues to build the base of information available to you in conducting a portfolio assessment. We provide more
intensive analysis and dissemination offerings, including preparing a manuscript for a peer reviewed publication, preparing
materials for a professional presentation, and developing other materials, such as fact sheets or white papers.

Our customized approach enables you as the client to pick the assessment methodologies that are right for you. Please contact us
