Economics in International Development
MayaTech has joined the international development effort to share economic and social science research capabilities with counterparts in developing countries, and to extend its corporate social responsibility beyond the shores of the United States. MayaTech economists have examined ways of strengthening accountability, openness, and transparency in government; studied factors influencing the supply of foreign direct investment; and examined issues related to financial mediation.
