Worldwide Screening and Brief Intervention Survey 2005

Tom Stegbauer, SAMHSA, provided the preliminary results of a worldwide survey of SBI programs. Grantees are asked to assist in this effort by completing the online survey.

Meeting Location and Sponsor

The Summer Meeting for SBIRT grantees was conducted on Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15, 2005, at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.

The meeting was sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT).

Meeting Highlights

The purpose of this clinically focused meeting was to share knowledge and stimulate programmatic ideas through the collaboration of SBIRT grantees. Collaborative group discussions encouraged coalition building among organizations providing SBIRT services.
